I really appreciate the opportunity to be in the EFF HT 2013 and can’t wait to share what I’ve learned since I started hooping. Not just some sweet moves I’ve learned, but that hooping taught me I can do anything I put my mind to. Also, I can’t wait to level up my hoop skills from hooping with all the other great hoopers! ? Thanks so much.
Libra Fairy, New York NY
I am filled with excitement & gratitude to work with Luna and all of the seriously creative & talented beings who make up the 2013 hoop troupe. The hooping community demonstrates a level of support and love that reflect the deeper human ideals that exist beyond the ego. I’m so proud to be a part of this culture and I’m grateful to be able to spread my love & gratitude for life through hoopdancing.
Matt Poretta, Clinton NJ
A year ago I started exploring the hoop, not knowing that a year later I would be madly in-love with circles. Early on in my hoop journey I set my sights on Electric Forest and the Hoop Troupe, so many of my idols had accomplished this feat and I couldn’t help but think about it a full year in advance. This has been a year in the making for me, and it is a personal victory I am honored to share with those attending Electric Forest this summer. I will be hoopin’ my heart out the whole festival, watch out! :)
Ciara Blossom of Spunshine, Austin TX
We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this communal hoop experience. We look forward to connecting and co-creating at Electric Forest. I will be busy sewing a batch of new costumes for the occasion! My partner and I are excited to bring a splash of fresh duo flow to this enchanting event. Gratitude & Light for bringing Spunshine on board for this epic adventure. Can’t wait to meet all the other selectees!
Caterina Suttin of Spunshine, Austin TX
I love the hoop. I love how many ways it makes me feel. I love the feeling of discovery. How everytime I learn something new I’m reminded of how much more can there is to learn. That magic, when shared with others, magnifies and becomes even more powerful. I’m so looking forward to connecting with the rest of the troupe. Thank you for the opportunity.

I owe so much to the people who have shown me such unconditional love & encouragement. Thank you to the beautiful, loving flow community of Spokane. You all have made me the hooper I am now! Thank you to my incredible friends, brothers, & boyfriend for believing in me regardless of my pursuits. Thank you to my dad for being the ultimate enthusiast & encourager. And of course, thank you to Dally for being the most wonderful hoop partner, best friend, & soul sister I could have ever asked for!

I have a dance background of 17 years. I picked up hooping as a form of dance almost 1 year ago. I love feeling the energy from the hoop with the music and feeling more in touch with my flow everyday! My inspiration is my duet partner, Lizz. She’s brought nothing but positivity into my life and I learn more and more from her whenever we’re together. I believe I will add bright and positive energy to the group that I will hope will inspire others.

I have always been a preforming with Cheerleading and Dance but hooping has enlightened me as a person, but more importantly a soul to love my energy and portray it through the hoop.
