The Brainery is a space where the Forest Family comes together to learn from one another collectively. Workshops, classes, and panels cover everything from crafting and EDM line dancing to meditation, breathwork, and artist-led discussions. The Brainery Workshop program seeks passionate minds with engaging ideas to teach fellow Forest Family in interactive ways.

BREATHE

Forest Resonance
Presenter: Julian Stann

Forest Resonance is a guided, participatory sound experience using live violin or viola to create a shared moment of listening and presence. Participants are invited to sit, lie down, or gently move while sustained tones and simple melodies unfold in real time. The session emphasizes relaxation, breath awareness, and collective stillness, allowing sound to guide the experience rather than instruction. No musical experience is required—participants simply show up and engage at their own comfort level.

Guided By Grief
Presenter: Jewell Dwomoh

Guided by Grief is a workshop centered on honoring the depth, power, and sacredness of grief. It explores the many forms and stages of grief while introducing ritual as a meaningful way to process and release it. While festivals are often spaces of joy and escape, this offering creates room for softness, reflection, and emotional truth. Through guided meditation, shared insight, and ritual practice, participants are supported in moving through their grief with intention. The workshop closes with a grounding meditation, inviting participants to release, express, and connect with a loved one or a past version of themselves.

Intention Setting Ceremony
Presenter: Sara Blakley

Our intention is to provide an environment that cultivates positive energy in order to guide attendees in setting their intentions for the festival. We will do this by regulating their nervous system through breath, movement and stillness. Also by awakening their inner child through surrender and play, and ultimately leading to intention setting through guided meditation.

Restorative Breathwork
Presenter: Mia Arends

This restorative breathwork session is designed to help you land softly, process everything you've experienced, and carry the magic of the Forest home with you. Through gentle, down-regulating breath patterns set to soothing music from the Electric Forest lineup, we'll restore your body and mind, inviting a deep sense of calm and ease. We'll close with a short visualization and time for journaling and sharing. Leave feeling grounded, whole, and ready for whatever comes next.

The Frequency of You
Presenter: Dr. DREAM

The Frequency is YOU is a heart-centered experience that blends storytelling, guided meditation, essential oils, and healing sound. Dr. DREAM and Stephanie gently guide participants through the chakra energy centers using relatable stories, calming breathwork, and chakra-aligned scents to create a deeply supportive atmosphere. Layers of soothing sound and vibration help the body relax while encouraging emotional balance and inner awareness. This interactive journey makes energy concepts easy to understand and feel, rather than just learn about. Participants leave feeling grounded, uplifted, and more connected to themselves and the world around them.

CREATE

Blackout Poetry
Presenter: Tara Ventura

In this workshop, participants will cross out words from pages of books, molding something new through erasure. This activity explores creation, destruction, and the eternal juxtaposition of the two. The workshop will end with participants having the opportunity to read their poetry aloud. A wide range of texts will be offered.

DIY Soapmaking
Presenter: Kristina Davikoff

Treat yourself to this hands-on DIY workshop for making soap, toothpaste, and deodorant. I'll shed light on the dangers of most store-bought products. Then we’ll raid our home pantry for easy and safe ingredients to make personal care products--the SUSTAINABLE way! All participants will walk away with sample goodies.

DIY Tea Mixer & Connection

Discover the art of blending herbal teas to create delicious and wellness-boosting brews in this hands-on workshop. Learn how to combine different herbs for flavor and health benefits, making your tea time both enjoyable and nourishing.

Kandi Shoelaces is a simple crafting workshop that allows Forest attendees to customize their shoes with Kandi Shoelaces with the phrase Electric Forest and Colorful beads!

Vision Board Studio

Every remarkable action and legacy in our world began as a mere thought. facilitators will show you how to visualize your goals and frame each around achievable goals in your very own personalized, laminated, Vision Board.

LEARN

Fuel & Flow
Presenter: Celia Margolin & Hayley Marin

Fuel & Flow is an interactive workshop led by registered dietitian Celia Margolin and her collaborator Hayley Marin, designed to help Forest fam fuel and hydrate with intention—because the weekend is a marathon, not a sprint! Together, they’ll explore how eating and hydration impact how you feel in real time, from recognizing signs of low blood sugar and knowing when to refuel to understanding how to stay hydrated throughout the day, including a quick visual demonstration using water bottles and hydration packs. Participants will engage in real-time decision-making scenarios and group discussion to apply these concepts to common festival situations. The session concludes with a short guided exercise to build your own fuel and hydration plan for the weekend—so you can feel your best from day one through the final set.

WTFH?! What The Female Hormone?!
Presenter: Rosie Rae

An interactive workshop exploring the world of female hormones with plenty of laughs along the way. We’ll unpack how hormones shape our lives across the menstrual cycle, blending biochemistry with candor. Using cycle templates and donated magazines, we’ll create personalized vision boards so each participant leaves with a practical guide to the four phases of their cycle. Expect science mixed with shared stories like why the luteal phase can turn you into a raging bitch, while ovulation has you feeling like a horny, feral animal.
This isn't just for those with ovaries, men have mothers, sisters, friends, and lovers they can learn a thing or two about.

MOVE

Adaptive Yoga for All People
Presenter: Sophie Schnitzlein

Join Sophie Schnitzlein, founder of The Adaptive Yoga Resource, for an Adaptive Yoga Flow designed with access at the center. We welcome ANYONE to practice yoga with us regardless of ability level. This dynamic, challenge by choice-based class invites you to practice yoga seated or standing in a way that honors your mind and body. We incorporate creative, “untraditional” supports like discussion and visual aids to make the practice more accessible and engaging for all attendees. After class, stay for an interactive conversation on how to adapt common yoga practices to meet your unique needs, whether you are disabled or able-bodied. This yoga experience is truly for ALL and we can't wait to flow with you!

Brain on Laughter

Laughter Yoga: They say Laughter is the best medicine, but how do we bring more of it into our lives? By its very nature, laughter yoga cultivates joy while simultaneously building resilience towards life’s difficulties through the medium of laughter. The practice of laughter yoga is a instant vacation from the daily grind in a way that celebrates your inner child. Will you come out to play?

EDM Zumba

This dance workshop includes choreography to different types of EDM house music including Afro house, progressive house, Latin house & more! Join the instructor in a 1 hour dance session that will begin with a lovely morning stretch to wake us up. Then followed by dance & movements that you can bring with you to the stages, ending with a self affirmation cool down, spreading PLUR to the community & to ourselves.

Embodied Rhythm
Presenter: Cat Duble

What if the dance floor was a sacred space? The Embodied Rhythm workshop blends yoga, somatic movements, and ecstatic dance to help you feel more present in your body and connected to the music and humans around you. We’ll explore grounding postures, fluid dance movements, and collective rhythm you can bring straight onto the dance floor. Come as you are, move how you feel. No experience needed.

Energizing Morning Vinyasa
Presenter: Lindsey Gill

Join 500-HR RYT yoga instructor and dancer Lindsey Gill for an energetic, dance-inspired vinyasa--the perfect warm up before hitting the Electric Forest stages!
Listen to upbeat samples from festival artists as you move, breathe, balance, and hold fun yoga asanas, followed by a brief intention setting meditation to set the energy for your day ahead.

Happy Hips
Presenter: Pharann Hoffman

Happy Hips is a dynamic, lower-body focused yoga class created for festival-goers who spend long days dancing, walking, and standing. This practice builds strength and mobility in the hips, glutes, and legs while releasing built-up tension from repetitive movement. Intentional sequencing and breath support joint health, balance, and ease of movement throughout the weekend. Participants leave feeling more open, stable, and resilient ready to keep exploring the Forest with less strain and more freedom.

Sun & Moon Flow
Presenter: Carlos Rodriguez-Cosme and Costas Lopez

Sun & Moon Flow is a dynamic tag‑team yoga all-levels workshop designed to harmonize strength and softness through elemental-inspired movement. The practice begins in the energy of the Sun (Costas), guiding participants through mobility‑focused, heat‑building postures rooted in Earth and Fire qualities. As the session transitions, the Moon phase (Carlos) introduces slower, fluid, grounding shapes that embody the intuitive flow of Water and the spacious ease of Air.

Sun Salutations: Vinyasa Yoga & Breath

Find your flow in this immersive yoga workshop blending movement, breath, and meaning. Begin with a soulful dharma talk, ease into balancing pranayama breathing, then ride the rhythm of a dynamic vinyasa flow. Close it all out in deep, festival-ready relaxation... grounded, open, and fully alive.

Synctuary Yoga

Synctuary is a syncopation-based yoga flow that incorporates high-energy music and simple, integrative yoga flow. Syncing asana movements to beats, incorporating the music of the music artists from the 2026 lineup of Electric Forest into the workshop playlist.

Primal Play
Presenter: David Jonczak

Primal Play is an interactive movement workshop that helps you reconnect with your body through animal-inspired movement, breath, and play. Drawing from Daoist Animal Frolics and modern primal movement, participants will explore simple, intuitive ways of moving that build awareness, mobility, and presence. This is not about performance or getting it “right” — it’s about feeling, experimenting, and rediscovering how natural it is to move. Expect to crawl, stretch, shake, and play in a way that’s accessible to all levels. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, energized, and at home in your body.
