ABOUT THE WISH MACHINE
The Wish Machine invites the Forest Family to commit to spreading positivity through inspirational and charitable deeds in their community in exchange for a wish granted by Electric Forest.
This call for Forest dreams has generated thousands of inspiring commitments through the years. These have resulted in many real-world, positive impacts including donations to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, an arts and crafts event for an Illinois Veterans home, the beautification of local walking trails, the creation of a mental health support group, and much more.
In exchange, the Wish Machine has granted everything from throwing a dream Forest Wedding, Wristbands to the Festival and facilitating a Mario Kart tournament for charity in the campgrounds, private performances from Forest favorites and headliners, and even Electric Forest performance slots - that helped launch careers in music!
Examples of appropriate wishes:
- If I volunteer at my local animal shelter, Electric Forest will provide brunch at my camp for myself and my campmates.
- If I organize a clean-up of my local nature preserve, Electric Forest will provide Wristbands for my cleanup crew!
- If I gather necessities to donate to a children’s shelter, Electric Forest will allow me to play a set at the Silent Disco.
Examples of inappropriate wishes:
- If I spread good vibes and magic, Electric Forest will give me free tickets.
- If I set up a non-profit, Electric Forest will donate $10,000 to it.
- If I am given the opportunity to perform at Electric Forest, then Electric Forest will be amazing!
Wish Granted
FIRST WISH GRANTED!
The Wish Machine has granted the first Wish for 2025! Kendall attended Electric Forest for the first time in 2024 and left inspired to get involved and give back to her own community in Buffalo, New York. Kendall’s Wish was for Good Life upgrades for her and her campmate in exchange for her volunteer work doing recreational therapy with veterans at the Buffalo VA Hospital.

Recreational therapy enhances veterans' overall well-being and empowers them to live with confidence and fulfillment.
